A guy doesn't look at a girl in a bar and say "That's girl has such a great soul".
He looks at HER.
Physically.
Her appearance.
The way she dresses, how she looks.
At first, no one ever thinks about what she might be.. it only matters that she's hot.
If this is how guys judge, I shall be 85, a spinster who pop's anti-depression pills, slits her wrists and lives with 12 dogs.
Why is appearance everything with guys?
I have a couple of friends.. smart, unconventionally mature guys who fell for the pretty bitchy girls. It ALWAYS happens.
The better the guy is, the sluttier and the bitchier a girl he falls for. I see it ALL the time. It surrounds me and haunts me.
It annoys me and frustrates me.
Why are boys my age so immature?
When will they learn that true love isn't based on appearances or bank accounts.
When will they learn that lust is not everything, it gives them nothing but temporary happiness?

When will they stop mixing love with lust and physical desires or mental pictures?

Firstly - Shut up. You will find a guy who likes you for who you are. Not based on what you look like.
Well..you have nothing to worry about because you're a pretty girl.
Secondly - All of us have the tendency to fall for the wrong people. You know it. So basically, we get carried away by narrow loyalties, for girls..it's how cute the guy is...how hot his voice his..for guys, it's how slutty and bitchy the girl is.
But sooner or later, we realize that the person we're with..isn't the person for us.
We need something deeper. Something that has a meaning...

Girls date older guys because of maturity levels and guys date younger girls cuz of maturity levels..strange i know but it's all about balance...it's normally 3 years to 2 years of difference
In other cases where girls date guys their age it never tends to work out as well (some cases it works exceptionally well)

Besides the relationships you're talking about are only the ones you've seen in school and it's a flawed system...teens judgment is always clouded by hormones and rep...Love's a mystery which is why everyone's drawn to it...more over they'd love to claim they have it...

Okay yes, we do judge people based on their appearance and why just in relationships? EVERYWHERE. Be it a job interview, the new girl in class, a new actress in films...looks are very important. When Ishaan and I weren't seeing each other, the first thing I'd noticed were his looks!
HOWEVER, ultimately what CAN you do with something that looks good when there's nothing beyond the surface? When you realise this, that's when you learn to look for more than the looks. And then, even if the person you fall for is not the epitome of hotness, it's okay, because you love them for who they are. :)
